Richard Poole, a 65-year-old UK citizen, traveled to India for Minimally Invasive CABG Surgery. Richard had been suffering from Coronary Artery Disease from last year and had multiple heart blockages. A year ago, Richard started complaining of acute pain in his chest while working in the office. He went to the nearest hospital for a medical evaluation, where he found out about his Cardiac-blockage condition. Doctors recommended him to have CABG surgery, for which he had to wait more than a year in his own country.

His condition was deteriorating day by day, and he was no longer able to perform his daily routine activities. He used to get a sharp pain in his chest many times a month. But Richard did not want to have an open heart surgery. He started looking into multiple options on the internet in order to pursue minimally invasive surgery as soon as possible.

He raised a query on Medserg Health website and mentioned his condition in his medical reports.  We arranged an immediate video consultation with Dr. Ajay Kaul (Senior Bypass Surgeon) from FORTIS Hospital, Noida

During the conversation, Dr. Kaul encouraged him to have minimally invasive CABG surgery and explained the procedure in detail. He advised him to come to India immediately and our team arranged his VIL (Visa Invitation Letter)  from the hospital on an urgent basis. Richard landed in India alone on April 14th, 2023. Our team member received him at the airport and drove him to the hospital the same day for a consultation. The doctor admitted him to the hospital and kept him under observation for 4-5 days and performed different medical examinations. Also, the doctor explained to him the detailed surgical process. Richard went for Minimally Invasive CABG Surgery in India on 19th April. On a positive note, he was able to speak with the doctor barely 4 hours following the surgery. He was moved from the intensive care unit to a regular room the next day. He received his discharge from the hospital after one week and went back to his homeland.
